Q&A WITH Judith

How did you get into music?

Since I can imagine I have always been in theater and choir groups at school. I am gifted with the talent of singing and luckily I also wanted to make use of it.
My first gig was at 3rd grade singing Ariel´s "Part of your world" to my class. Later on I was singing in the school band and joined my first metal band. I think I could sing before I could speak as a baby haha ;)..

What favorite bands did you have when you were young?

My favorite band was Roxette, I had a wall in my room covered with pics and posters of them.
I was a lot into musicals as well and also Bon Jovi. I was freaking out when I first heard the mix of classic and metal when I discovered Nightwish.

What instruments are you playing?

Vocal chords :). Sometimes Nervensäge!

What do you do when you are not making music?

In summer I love hiking and being out in nature and work out.
In winter i´m actually doing hibernation.

What is your favorite food?

Vegetarian, Italian food, I really love fries!

Do you have a favorite drink?

Coffee!!! A good glass of red wine.

Do you have an idol?

Marie Fredriksson (former Roxette singer, may she rest in peace). I always wanted to be like her when I was young. A self-confident, intelligent, beautiful and a little bad-ass woman. And Tarja Turunen (of course!). :-)

What is you favorite movie?

I guess Alice in Wonderland. But also Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars films and Lord of the Rings.

Name your favorite Unsoulicited Song:

Leave you by the shore. I love the whole atmosphere of the song very much.

I you were an animal, what would it be?

That´s so easy, definitely a squirrel!! :)

How Unsoulicited and me found each other:

You know good things take time very often. When Florian first sent me demos and asked me to sing for the band I denied because I had another music project going on.
Thank you Flo for staying so patient and consistent and asking me once again
haha :).

The new demo songs convinced me at first listen and now I am very happy to be able to be a part of this cool project!
